Raj graduated from The University of Manchester Dental School in 2013 and has worked in both NHS and private dentistry. He has been providing cosmetic dentistry since 2015 with a focus on teeth straightening, which includes Invisalign and fixed braces.

Hi, my name is Nicky and I have been a part of the Hillary Street Dental team since 1994. My dental career started when I was 16, having recently left school. As a patient at Hillary Street Dental Surgery, I was invited to join the dental team and I completed my Dental Nurse training, followed by a post graduate certificate in Oral Health Education.

Throughout my time at Hillary Street, I have had the pleasure of working with an experienced team of Clinicians and Dental Nurses that have always been committed to the care that we provide. We are always happy to assist patients with information that they require prior to, during, and following their dental care. On behalf of us all, thank you for entrusting us with your dental care.

Dr Kayleigh Vassel graduated from Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in 2013.

Dr Kayleigh Vassel is an accomplished professional in the field of dentistry. She graduated from the prestigious Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in 2013, after completing her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Music (BSc Hons) from Keele University. During her tenure as a Senior House Officer with Oral and Maxillofacial Specialists, Dr Kayleigh developed a strong passion for Minor Oral Surgery. She furthered her expertise by obtaining the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons.

With her diverse skill set in dental and oral surgery, Dr. Kayleigh provides comprehensive and exceptional care to her patients. She expands on this commitment by offering Medical Aesthetic treatments to her patients, including Anti-Wrinkle Treatments, Dermal Filler Treatments, and Skin Treatments. Meher Grewal BDS

Associate Dentist

Dr Meher Grewal joined our practice in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and a passion for patient care. She is always undertaking further training and qualifications to keep herself up to date with current developments.

Dr Meher Grewal is a dedicated and compassionate dentist committed to providing exceptional dental care. With training and experience in general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr Grewal specialises in creating healthy, beautiful smiles for patients of all ages. Her patient-centred approach ensures that everyone receives personalised treatment tailored to their unique needs. Her particular area of interest is fixed braces and aligners.

In March 2019, Dr Grewal was part of a dedicated team of nine dental students, dentists, and doctors who travelled to India to deliver essential health services to underserved communities. Working in conjunction with Satya Samaj UK, a charity organisation, and Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh, the team diagnosed, treated, and referred to over 500 individuals in just five days. This experience underscores Dr Grewal's commitment to providing compassionate care and her dedication to making a positive impact on global health. Her involvement in such meaningful projects exemplifies her comprehensive approach to dentistry and her drive to serve those in need.

Dr PK Patel

Dentist with special interest in Oral Surgery

PK is the former principal of Hillary Street Dental Surgery. He is very loved by the patients at Hillary Street and has formed great bonds and relationships with his patients. He has over 30 years of oral surgery experience and has worked at our local NHS Manor Hospital. PK has vast experience and skills in all areas of dentistry. He can get you out of pain and he can get you the beautiful smile you have always wanted. He places implants to fill in the spaces of missing teeth that you may have lost and can get those wisdom teeth out that have been causing you severe pain without having to wait!

Dr Ian Hutchinson BDS FDS RCSEd MOrthEd MSc(Bris) PGA

Specialist Orthodontist

Ian has been a Consultant in orthodontics, has owned a busy NHS practice (and still owns his own private one), has been Chairman of British Lingual Orthodontic Society and has created and run an MSc Orthodontic program (Lingual Orthodontics) for Warwick University. He supports the clinicians at Hillary Street Dental Surgery with difficult orthodontic cases and will carry out complex treatment if needed.

Nidhi Beedh

Director

Hi, my name is Nidhi and I am a director at Hillary Street Dental Surgery. I am also the face behind “Aesthetics by NB”.

Having qualified as a pharmacist from Medway School of pharmacy in 2017, I have since furthered my education and completed the postgraduate studies in independent prescribing, as well as the foundation and advanced botox and dermal filler course with Derma Medical.

Coming from a background of working in both community and general practice settings, I pride myself in exceptional communication skills which I believe are imperative to understanding the desires of my clients.

Combining my education with my passion allows me to perform confidently as an aesthetics practitioner, obtaining results each and every time. I feel great satisfaction when I help people feel more confident within themselves, and pride in their appearance. Knowing I can do this with a good understanding of the anatomy and how the products may affect someone ensures a thorough consultation with an aim to tailor each treatment to the individual, hence offering a bespoke service.
